A few weeks ago we saw that many companies were interested in Cyanogen Inc, some to participate in their financing and others for an acquisition, and on this last has today made public the name of one of the companies that tried to buy the company’s famous ROMs based on Android.

The Information newspaper reported that President Ejecutivo de Cyanogen, during a meeting of a new round of funding, said several potential investors to Sundar Pichai made a purchase offer for that ROM team will go to work in the Android team, but rejected the offer to consider them very low.

Cyanogen Inc. currently has a rating of billion dollars, a very high price for a company that currently not getting benefits with your ROMs. Currently they have signed few agreements with manufacturers that use their ROMs on their devices beyond. At the moment they have only signed with Oppo, OnePlus, and according to The Information just signed with the Indian manufacturer Micromax.

The company’s popular ROM would be now using this high rating next to the offer to purchase of Google to show investors that your company has a future, although not all see very clearly that it becomes profitable, since it has not yet released all these extra services that enhance their version of Android and will make it more attractive to manufacturers and users.
