Tennis Championship Tournament Roland Garros

Roland Garros is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments. The only Grand Slam tournament played in a country where English is not the primary language. The tournament will be played in Paris.

Roland Garros

Tennis tournament was first held in 1891. Then called the tournament French Open. In 1927 the name was changed to Roland Garros. The tournament is named after war hero and Aviator Roland Garros. The whole world is here at present, are often wildcards. And also allows players to participate in the Main Event by participating in a tournament. The game is played on clay. There is a men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles and mixed doubles. The entire property has space for roughly a little less than 40,000 spectators. The big three gaming venues: Court No. 1 Court Suzanne Lenglen and Centre Court Philippe Chatrier.
Nadal vs Federer

Since 2004, Federer dominated men’s tennis. But then came a 19-year-old boy, Rafael Nadal. In 2005 did Nadal, one of the few to beat Federer. Federer lacks only the trophy at Roland Garros. To have a Grand Slam you have to win all four tournaments. The Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. In 2006, 2007 and 2008, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer every time meet each other in the final of Roland Garros. Nadal wins every time. In 2008, Nadal beat Federer with the digits 6-1,6-3,6-0. In 2009, Federer tried again. In the quarter-finals Nadal’s surprising defeat by Robin Soderling. This is a chance for Federer. This year, if ever, was said by many tennis fans and oudtennissers. In the final, who painstakingly by Federer, he beats Soderling in three easy sets. Nadal called the King of clay at Roland Garros and he is the favorite every year.
Gravel

At the Roland Garros tournament played on clay. Gravel is a base of crushed brick. Clay is slower than the other surfaces, hardcourt and grass. At can be brought on hardcourts and clay substrates if it starts raining a little. Grass this absolutely can not, it is too slippery and dangerous. A wet clay is relatively slow, the clay court is much faster if the runway is dry and the Sun is shining. But in many cases will not be played if it rains a little bit, then stop the players and they continue when the weather is dry. The benefits of a gravel is that it has a relatively soft surface and players can glide over the gravel. The risk of damage is much less, your knees and ankles are less taxed. Especially Spaniards and South Americans prefer gravel. These players usually come at the bottom.
Hawk Eye
Hawk Eye can be used by players when they disagree with the judge. Around the course, there are many fixed cameras that keep an eye on the job. These cameras can see all the balls used in the field.Players can activate the Hawk eye when they think their ball or an opponent’s ball is out. This may apply three times per set by judges. Only in the gravel they don’t have it, so at Roland Garros is not. When the dirt you see an imprint of the ball. If there is doubt about its President judges can come and go on the road and see if the ball is in or out. Usually the judge do this because one of the players complained.
